What Happens When The Queen Bee Leaves The Hive?

BEEKEEPERSTIPS.COM

The queen lays anything from 1500 eggs a day on a quiet day, to 4000 eggs a day in an African hive during a strong honey flow.

A mated queen bee can lay fertilized eggs which develop into workers or queens, and unfertilized eggs which develop into drones.
